Okay, I know I said my next post would be more on supplements, but I just made a yummy treat that I had to share. It is courtesy of my friend Erin. Thanks, eb!
Yummy oat balls
1 cup peanut butter (I always use natural peanut buttter)
1 cup honey
1 cup chocolate chips (If you can't have milk, then use the Enjoy Life brand. You can get these at Whole Foods or Meijer)
1 cup dried fruit of your choice ( I used raisins and pineapple)
1/2 cup cranberries
1/c cup of ground flaxseed (you can omit this if you want, but provides lots of healthy omega 3's)
3 cups of oats (Bob's Red mill has a gluten and wheat free version that are safe to use)
Roll into small balls and place on wax paper over a cookie sheet. Then place in the refridgerator....Enjoy!
****They are such a great high, protein, high fiber snack....be careful not to eat too many at once since they are so high in fiber. =)
